Some important points -

iTouches are student owned.

How I got them - Best Buy Award

What I wanted and what I got

Wanted hand recorders, did not have hand recorders that could be used with Mac

Seven iPods, with speakers

Management - iPods

All iPods are connected to one computer (there is hardware to sync them up easily)

Limit what is on the iPods

Charge with both the computer and external

Each iPod has a marked bag, with marked iPod and marked speakers

Limit songs on iPod

Students are assigned a bag

Short explaination of how I want them back

iPod turned off

Button switch in locked

Speakers turned off

Allow 5-7 minutes at end of class period to turn in

What I didn't use

Voice recorder - easier to use an actual recorder with card, than download voice and grab file.

iPod Games

Can load them up on iPod, extra practice for students

No accountability
