Pointers
- Run away if you hear a “sss” sound (a creeper is about to blow you up)
- If you here a xylophone or growl it is a nearby zombie or skeleton, the zombie can’t attack you until it comes up to you have “walks into you” a skeleton can shoot you with a bow & arrow
- For the first night, build a house or dig into the ground and place a block (note: don’t use gravel or sand because it will fall on your head and suffocate you.)
- Always light up your base, otherwise monsters will spawn
- Cows, pigs, chickens, squid, are passive mobs-attack them for food, etc.
- The types of Hostile mobs are; Normal World: Zombie, Skeleton, Creeper, Spider, Slime; Nether: Ghast, Zombie-Pigman, Blaze, Magma Cube; End: Enderman, Ender Dragon.
- Every second in our time is 3 minutes in game, making about a 13 minute cycle
- To get into the Nether, make a 4 x 5 square of obsidian and light it with a flint and steel
